Kathy

Kathy has over 20 years of experience as a licensed cosmetologist, colorist, and salon owner. After earning her diploma from Mr. Lee’s School of Beauty in 1988, she worked for a short time in a commercial salon before adopting the philosophy of the “personal salon” and opening Hair by Kathy in her home. This philosophy merges the expertise of the boutique salon with the relaxing atmosphere and personal service that can only happen in a non-commercial setting.

As an avid runner and nutritionalist, Kathy also believes in the concept of total health. True beauty is an outer manifestation of an inner quality. Her approach to hair and beauty is built upon the belief that true beauty must be nurtured both within and without. Hair, skin, physical and emotional health, and nutrition all play a vital role in looking and feeling your best.
